Caramel Sauce for Ice Cream

  1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar with water and whisk it.
  2. Stir until combined. Next add the coconut milk fat (do not shake or stir, use the top layer only), maple syrup and bring to a boil over medium heat. Continue to stir until bubbly and thickened. Stir constantly.
  3. Enjoy warm as a sauce or a dip for fruits, etc. Enjoy!
