Black Bean Burgers

  1. Remove from heat and set aside. Next caramelize the onion until translucent. Add garlic and carrots and cook until carrots are tender. Remove from heat.
  2. In a food processor using the “s” blade, add the contents of the pan along with the liquid aminos, oats, spices and beans.
  3. Process until your desired texture. Note, if the patties are difficult to form, place in the fridge for half hour.
  4. Form patties using the place on a sprayed cookie sheet. Cook in the oven at 400 degrees for 12 minutes and flip again and cook for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Makes approximately 8 burgers.
